Christmas 2023 Waste and Recycling Service

We are scheduling our collection services over the Christmas 2023 Holiday period to ensure that we can meet your needs. Below is a calendar which details our schedule. If you are closed and do not require collections, please let us know by Friday 8th December 2023 by email to transport@clearaway.uk.com, as this will avoid us turning up to collect and you incurring collection charges.  If you require additional or rescheduled collections please do not hesitate to contact the transport team at transport@clearaway.uk.com and we will do all that we can.

1. Our Christmas collection schedule is detailed below.
2. Excess Waste – if you have previously advised Clearaway not to collect Extra Waste we will not do so over the festive period unless confirmed in advance by email to transport@clearaway.uk.com.

Service Amendments during the 2023 Christmas Holiday period

Bank Holiday Monday 25th December 2023
Bank Holiday Tuesday 26th December 2023
Bank Holiday Monday 1st January 2024

1. Trade Wheelie Bin Scheduled Collections:

• Normal collections up to and including Friday 22nd December 2023.
• No Collections On Monday 25th December 2023.
• Collections scheduled for Monday 25th December will be collected on either Tuesday 26th or Wednesday 27th December 2023.
• Collections scheduled for Tuesday 26th, Wednesday 27th, Thursday 28th and Friday 29th December 2023 will be collected either on the day due or the following day.
• No Collections On Monday 1st January 2024.
• Collections scheduled for Monday 1st January 2024 will be collected on either Tuesday 2nd or Wednesday 3rd January 2024.
• Collections scheduled for Tuesday 2nd, Wednesday 3rd, Thursday 4th and Friday 5th January 2024 will be collected either on the day due or the following day.
• Normal collections resume from Monday 8th January 2024.

2. REL Scheduled Collections:

• Collections are exactly the same as outlined in “1. Trade Wheelie Bin Collections” above.

3. RoRo Scheduled Collections:

• Normal collections up to and including Friday 22nd December 2023.
• There will be no collections from Monday 25th December 2023 to Monday 1st January 2024, unless specifically requested by the customer.
• Normal collections resume from Tuesday 2nd January 2024.

4. Adhoc Deliveries and Collections:

• Normal collections and deliveries up to and including Friday 22nd December 2023.
• Thereafter, our Box Van will not be running over the festive season.
• Normal collections resume from Wednesday 3rd January 2024 onwards.
